What is the best crosshair color in Valorant?

Cyan and green have the fewest look-alike surfaces and effects in the game, which is why most pros run one of the two. White is fine with an outline; red blends with damage effects.

How do I get a custom hex color crosshair?

In Settings → Crosshair, open the color dropdown and pick Custom, then enter a 6-digit hex code. In codes this appears as c;8 with u;RRGGBBFF and b;1.

What is the black crosshair code?

Black uses the custom hex: 0;s;1;P;c;8;u;000000FF;h;0;b;1;0l;3;0o;0;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0 - popular for bright maps, invisible in dark corners. Use with care.

Valorant Crosshair Colors

Valorant ships eight preset crosshair colors plus a free custom hex picker. The presets map to exact hex values (below), and in crosshair codes they appear as the c parameter, 0 through 8.

Color	Code value	Hex	Notes
White	c;0	#FFFFFF	Clean and neutral, but washes out on Ascent and Pearl’s bright walls. Pair with an outline.
Green	c;1	#00FF00	The visibility king: almost nothing in the game world is this green. Great on every map.
Yellow Green	c;2	#7FFF00	A slightly softer green; still excellent contrast everywhere.
Green Yellow	c;3	#DFFF00	Between green and yellow; rarely picked but perfectly usable.
Yellow	c;4	#FFFF00	Strong on dark areas, can blend near Breeze/Bind sand tones.
Cyan	c;5	#00FFFF	The pro favorite (TenZ, ScreaM, aspas). High contrast on virtually every surface.
Pink	c;6	#FF00FF	Very visible, slight overlap with Reyna and Clove effects.
Red	c;7	#FF0000	Classic but risky: blends with blood effects, Phoenix abilities and red HUD hits.
Custom	c;8	any	Any hex color you want, unlocked in the color dropdown since patch 5.04.

Which color should you pick?

Contrast against the game world is the whole decision. Valorant's maps are heavy on sand, teal, grey and warm light; abilities add red, orange, purple and white noise on top. Cyan and green sit outside almost all of it, which is why they dominate pro play. If you love another color, add a black outline: it guarantees a readable silhouette on any background. Test any color live against six different scene tones in our generator.
